We have a full-time, permanent position for a React Developer in Calgary, AB. Please note that we will not be considering

As a full-time member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to extend our platform using a mix of React, GraphQL and Node in a lean and modern product development environment.

Our ideal candidate is a team player and avid learner who is passionate about finding the right technical solutions to complex problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop web applications in a full-stack environment with React, Javascript and REST API technologies
• Help build out our platform and integrate new features by writing quality, test-driven code
• Take ownership of new features and leverage the team in creating, building and integrating quality
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect, Product Owners and your peers in finding the best solutions to our most challenging business and technical problems, using today’s and future technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software application development experience;
• 5+ years of react experience is a must have;
• Experience leading and/or mentoring more junior developers;
• Experience working with Node.js and the React Framework;
• Working experience with REST APIs and Test-Driven Development (TDD);
• Experience with GraphQL an asset;
• Proven application of software development patterns and best practices;
• Working knowledge of MySQL. An asset if paired with TypeORM or other ORM experience;
• Familiarity with automated testing, JavaScript build and deployment systems such as Jest;
• Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS or similar;
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
